01Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of northscalegroup.com and any related pages (the "Site"), operated by NorthScale Group Inc. ("NorthScale", "we", "us" or "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
02Nature of NorthScale Group
NorthScale is a private advisory firm providing strategic, commercial, communications and technology advisory services to businesses. NorthScale's services concern business strategy, commercial development, positioning and operations.
NorthScale is not registered as a dealer, adviser or investment fund manager with the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) or any other Canadian securities regulator. NorthScale is not registered as a broker-dealer or investment adviser with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), is not a member of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA), and is not registered with any other securities, commodities or financial regulator in any jurisdiction.

Nothing on the Site, and nothing in any communication with NorthScale, constitutes or should be construed as:

13Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Site shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Province of Québec. If you access the Site from outside Canada, you are responsible for compliance with local laws.
14Changes to these terms
We may amend these Terms at any time by posting the revised version on this page with a new effective date. Your continued use of the Site after any change constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
